UN Wellness Project
We designed a web application for Northwestern students interested in wellness activities.
We had so much fun creating web designs!
Our project centered around improving student wellness to combat stress induced by Northwestern classes and pre-professional culture.
This project was inspired by UN Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good health and well-being.

“How might we help busy Northwestern students develop habits to fulfill their wellness demands and improve their self-worth?”
Insight 1:
Students new to wellness might engage in random wellness activities without knowing exactly what they need.
Insight 2:
Students seek stimulating or relaxing wellness activities depending on their major because they contrast their typical daily routine.
Insight 3:
Involvement in pre-professional organizations leads students to neglect their wellness and overwork themselves.

There’s definitely mental health resources but finding them is hard because there are so many different departments… if you’re not in the know, you just won’t find it. - Annie
“
You have to know yourself to know what might work for you and be willing to explore before downloading an app. - Elizabeth
“
Certain organizations or facilities make these ‘efforts’ that feel like it’s because they have to and like they’re doing the bare minimum. - Aiden
My team did interviews with 8 students and user testing / refinement.
